Hermann Historica is a name synonymous with the high-end of arms and militaria in Europe.
Bloomsbury and Dreweatts auctioneers recently formed a partnership (not a merger) intending to strengthen both the range of collectibles in which they specialised and the countries in which they are active.
Bloomsbury has centres in London, New York and Rome, but neither company operates in Germany, nor are they militaria specialists. Hermann Historica will naturally gain substantial opportunities outside Germany in return.
"Like Bloomsbury, we deal with clients at the very pinnacle of our area of specialization, and the quality and location of their London, New York and Rome premises generously expands our options for future sale locations." commented Wolfgang Hermann, the company's founder.
Dreweatts' Stephan Ludwig added "Hermann Historica are a well respected business trading at the top of their field. It has been our stated goal to expand our alliances to incorporate further complementary fields to our in-house departments".
