One vellum membrane with red wax impression of the Royal Signet Seal (central shield with the Royal Coat of Arms intact).
Henry VII was the first monarch of the Tudor dynasty, preceded by Richard III of the House of York and succeeded by his son Henry VIII.
Many historians consider the acession of Henry VII to the throne as the end of the famous War of the Roses after he defeated King Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field.
Documents by Henry VII this large are very rare and more often than not tend to be in Latin, not English.
It is also rare for any Tudor Royal document to be written abroad - only Henry VII and Henry VIII left the shores of Britain.
A superb piece of British History.
