A very rare 5 x 8.5 sepia cabinet photograph of Liszt standing in a three-quarter length pose wearing a dark coat.
He is resting one arm on furniture whilst leaning away from the camera.
The photograph is by Ganff(?) of the Rue De L'Ecuyer studios in Brussels, Belgium.

At the base of the photo, over the photographers credits, a paper strip has been affixed.
On this strip Liszt has signed his name in bold ink across the base.
His signature runs slightly on to the IMAGE_suggesting the photograph was signed after the paper strip had been affixed.
The photo has some slight ageing, nevertheless, a rarely seen IMAGE_and signature.
