Rago Arts and Auction Centre has announced the opening of consignments for their next "Great Estates Sale" on Saturday December 4.
The New Jersey based auctioneers are famous for handling decorative arts, jewellery, furnishing and fine art to name but a few categories.
The sale promises to offer a wide range of unique collectibles from around the world.
Previous events at Rago have seen some impressive sales already this year.
In March, we reported on the remarkable sale of a Pietra Dura Italian Collector's Cabinet.

The ebonised 19th century piece wowed the collectors in attendance as a bidding war erupted for this unique collectible.
Measuring 25 1/2" x 46" x 15", the cabinet possessed Pietra fronts on all of its multiple drawers and carried a pre-sale estimated price of £1,600 - 2,240 ($2,500 - 3,500).
However, once bidding began, it was clear that this estimate would quickly be surpassed and the piece eventually sold for a massive £15,600 ($24,400).
Later in the year, Rago also made collectibles news again with the auction of a painting from famous Indian artist Sayed Haider Raza.
Raza is famous for his mainly abstract artwork.
The pieces are often noted for itheir rich use of colour and incorporation of Indian philosophy and cosmology using predominantly oil or acrylic.
The June 2010 auction at Rago saw the sale of S.H Raza's acrylic on canvas piece "La Nuit."
In previous weeks, we have reported the growing market for collectors of fine Indian art.
And this sale proved to be no exception as the piece sold for an impressive £33,200 ($51,850).
With these kinds of sales already happening this year, December could prove to be a memorable month for collectors of fine art and unique items.
The deadline for consignments is Wednesday October 13.
