The photograph, taken by renowed artist Marilyn Minter (b.1948), is entitled Unarmed, and renders Anderson almost unrecognisable. It is expected to sell for $10,000-15,000.
The First Open: New Media auction explores the ways in which contemporary artists have employed technology "to recast more traditional mediums of production", states the auction house.
