A set of six drawings by Nelson Mandela that were turned into lithographs by artist Tan Swie Hian will auction at Bonhams Hong Kong.
Nelson Mandela produced the original drawings in 2004
All will sell as a single lot with a valuation of $90,000-130,000 in a May 29 sale.
Known as the Nelson Mandela Unity Series, the works feature Mandela's illustrations of hands which Tan has painted over with Buddhist symbols.
Giles Peppiatt, Bonhams' director of South African Art, comments: "The litho-paintings Bonhams is selling capture the strength, dynamism and character of this truly amazing man who was also belatedly a talented artist.
"Never did a single individual more powerfully symbolise the hopes of a nation."
Proceeds from the sale will go to the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
