Mystery Da Vinci buyer revealed as Saudi prince

A Saudi prince is the mystery buyer of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi, according to the New York Times.

Bader bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan al-Saud, a member of the well connected Farhan family, paid $450.3m for the painting in November.

The work will go on loan in the spectacular Louvre Abu Dhabi, designed by French starchitect Jean Nouvel.
