Morton Casa de Subastas in Mexico City is to host a sale of masks by a series of artists reimaging Batman in a Mexican context on February 17.

Each piece is offered with a starting bid of $1,562-2,038. The artists include illustrators Christian Michel Casanueva and Mitzin Cuellar.
The lots originally featured in an exhibitition titled "Batman a trav̩s de la Creatividad Mexicana" (Batman through the Mexican Creativity) that was held to celebrate 75 years since the character's debut in Detective Comics No 27 in 1939.
