Auctioneer Tajan of Paris will be hoping to join in on the success in its upcoming sale of 20th century decorative art and design on September 27.

Among the sale's coveted lots is the perfect piece to spice up your office environment... with a whole new set of Art Deco office furniture.

Included in the lot is a larger swivel desk chair on an octagonal pedestal, and a pair of armchairs crafted from refinished rosewood, alongside an office desk - measuring 77.5cm high by 167.2cm long - with a rosewood veneer.
As you can see in the above photograph, the desk has two large side chambers raised on stepped bases with opening doors, stingray lined with ivory fillets. The whole lot is estimated at €12,000-18,000.
Also appearing alongside a range of striking lamps and vases in Alde's sale is this Louise XVI-style baluster vase, of red glass with a 'frosted effect' and engraved decoration.
The "Escalier de Cristal Paris" is inscribed on the lamp. Measuring 39cm high, the lamp "with high quality parts made by Michel Eugene for Escalier de Cristal" according to Alde's lot notes. It is estimated at €10,000-15,000.
