A pair of Sir Robert Lorimer-designed centre tables will highlight Christie's upcoming An English Taste auction.
The circa 1900 limed-oak tables, valued at £12,000-18,000, will be among 450 fine pieces crossing the auction floor in London on September 26.

The items all come from the collection of renowned auctioneers and decorators Robert Kime and Piers von Westenholz.
They include William Morris textiles and furniture from AWN Pugin.
Also featuring will be a pair of early 19th century Japanned vases and covers, valued at £2,000-3,000, and three 20th century Uzbek susanis.
Christie's Gemma Sudlow, in charge of the sale, commented: "Following on from the popularity of property offered by these two tastemakers in the past, we were only too delighted to embark upon another fabulous project with Robert and Piers that is sure to bring the salerooms to life with colour this September".
The auction is expected to make £600,000 in all.
