Signed and numbered 4/10, the bright red piece made €127,500 ($166,689).

An 11/25 print of Haring's iconic Pop Shop Quad II also put in a strong performance, selling for €31,250 ($40,885), while an Icons silk screen from an edition of 250, which features a crouching red figure against a blue background, made €17,500 ($22,850).
Proceeds from the sale are to benefit the hospital Necker - a children's hospital in Paris, which features a large Haring mural on the outside.
