Johnny Depp is to sell nine Jean-Michel Basquiat paintings from his own collection.
They will cross the block in Christie's contemporary art evening sale in London on June 30.
Depp has long been a passionate collector of the artist's work.
He explained: "Nothing can replace the warmth and immediacy of Basquiat's poetry, or the absolute questions and truths that he delivered.
"The beautiful and disturbing music of his paintings, the cacophony of his silence that attacks our senses, will live far beyond our breath."
Basquiat's record was recently set at $57.3m for an untitled work at Christie's.
