An untitled 2010 work by US industrial artist Jacob Kassay, best known for his scrupulously constructed, monochrome installations, is to auction at Phillips London on April 11.

The silver and acrylic deposit on canvas resembles a foggy mirror and is estimated to be worth £70,000-90,000 ($107,230-137,876), suggesting the artist's star is on the rise.
Comparable works by Kassay, an underground favourite among art collectors, often put in strong performances at auction. A 2009 untitled silver and acrylic deposit on canvas sold for $240,000 in May 2011.
