Henri Fantin-Latour's Roses (1889) will star in Bonhams' 19th Century European, Victorian and British Impressionist Art sale.

It's a classic demonstration of the artist's skill in capturing still life.
Fantin-Latour's flower paintings were all the rage in Victorian Britain and he was enormously successful in his own lifetime.
One of his biggest fans was the acclaimed American artist James McNeill Whistler, who introduced him to many of his own patrons.
The work is valued at £200,000-300,000 ($260,000-390,000) ahead of the September 28 auction.
