The prototype cast of the legendary dog, who guarded his owner's grave for years in Edinburgh's Greyfriars Kirkyard, will sell for £1,000 ($1,586).
It was given by the company who cast the final statue to famed chief constable William Merrilees, who volunteered to scout for locations in the Scottish capital for the 1961 Disney film based on the hound's life.
Mr Merrilees was also given the dog that played Bobby in the film by Walt Disney shortly after filming. It appeared at various charity events and was even joint best man at his wedding in 1968.
