A John Fullleylove painting that shows Richard III before the fateful Battle of Bosworth will be sold at a UK auction on February 26.

The work, which will be sold for £2,000-3,000 ($3,091-4,638) shows the king outside the Blue Boar Inn in Leicester, where he is believed to have stayed prior to his death at Bosworth. John Fulleylove (1845-1908) is perhaps Leicester's most famous artist and was known throughout Europe.
The announcement of the sale follows recent news that Richard III's remains have finally been discovered, buried under a parking lot. Since the find, several Richard III related items have been appearing at auction, such as the gold coin found near the battle site that recently sold for £36,000 ($57,999), achieving a 140% increase on its estimate.
