A rare photographic book, Life and Landscape on the Norfolk Broads by PH Emerson, has seen excellent results at Keys Fine Art Auctioneers' Books auction on September 26 in the UK.

The auction house had valued the book at £25,000-30,000, but it soon soared past this to realise £66,000 ($105,952).
The 81-page book is filled with Emerson's platinum prints. One of just 200 copies ever printed, and with Emerson considered the father of naturalistic photography, it is an exceedingly rare and thrilling find at auction.
Individual prints of Emerson's work have sold for as much as £4,500 ($7,200) in the recent past.
