Christie's Diane Arbus online auction features 41 of the American visual artist's most arresting images.
A 1945 self portrait of the artist entitled Self Portrait, Pregnant, NYC, is expected to bring $7,000-9,000 at the April 12-ending sale.
The 1958 shot Woman With Parcels is thought to be worth between $6,000 and $8,000, and Arbus' striking Two Girls in Curlers has been valued at $7,000-9,000.

On April 2, Arbus' iconic 1966 gelatin silver print Twins brought $602,500 to Phillips Auctions in New York, having been directly acquired from the artist before her suicide in 1971.
The sale suggests a strong market exists for rare and recognisable works by the artist, who once commented of her often-aberrant subject matter: "Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats."
