Sotheby's Contemporary Art Evening Auction in London on June 26 will feature several pieces by Damien Hirst, including his early £1.8m valued pill bottle artwork, My Way.
Featuring the pill bottles employed by his grandmother at the time of her death, this and the other Hirst items are as challenging as ever, but are expected to perform well.
The auction house's senior director of contemporary art, Alex Branczik, explains more in this video.
Hirst's works will come to auction alongside a £7m estimated painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat, just a day before a $20m-valued piece by the New York artist auctions at Christie's.
The Sotheby's sale will also feature a Francis Bacon study for a self portrait, valued at $7m.
