Christie's Interiors sale will offer collectors and decorators a unique opportunity to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces from the collection of Dennis Hopper on January 11-12.
Promising "collectibles in virtually every style from antique to contemporary with something to suit every individual's taste," the sale is taking place in New York.
Dennis Hopper was best known as an actor for his iconic roles in Blue Velvet, Apocalypse Now and other cinema classics. Since his death in May 2010, collectors and auctioneers have increasingly been exploring his other passions as an artist and art collector.
Hopper's devoting to collecting and his taste in art were extraordinary. The star amassed more than 200 works of art throughout his lifetime.

Christie's January sale promises some of the cream of his collection, including prime examples of the world's foremost Post-War & Contemporary artists like Andy Warhol, Wallace Berman and Bruce Conner and also works of Annie Leibovitz, Kenny Scharf and Cindy Sherman.
High-level collectors from around the world will undoubtedly be descending on New York in on the 11-12 for a chance to own these works.
