A stunning twin-handled Chinese bronze censer that is thought to date from the 18th century, but could be even earlier, beat its presale estimate when it sold for an impressive £9,500 ($15,041) on January 29.

The attractive bronze censer, used for burning incense, led the UK-based antiques and art sale, which also featured an historic, handwritten ledger from Manchester's Belle Vue Zoo.
The ledger brought £1,400 ($2,216) having been given a £100-200 presale estimate. The sale price represents a 600% increase on the item's top estimate.
Here at Paul Fraser Collectibles we also have a wide range of museum-grade art and antiques in stock.
