Beautiful artworks will feature in a 310-lot sale of important West Coast consignments in a southern California auction on March 10.
The pieces were collected by Rona Barrett, the American gossip columnist, businesswoman and charity entrepreneur.
Among the sale's highlights is a Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923) lithographed colour poster. The work dates to 1896 and is signed by the French-Swiss artist.
Entitled La Rue, the work is a vivid depiction of a bustling street scene populated with a cross-section of French society. The work's size matches its vibrancy, across six panels measuring 90½ by 116¼ inches in total.

Steinlen's Art Nouveau classic art poster is expected to sell for $50,000-$70,000.
Like their often-lively designs, collectible posters are among the most vibrant collecting niches in today's markets.
We've invested in many top examples here at Paul Fraser Collectibles. Among the most interesting pieces in our stock is this 1968 poster for a concert by flamboyant singer Arthur Brown at Pontin's, the major UK holiday resort.
This small piece of Swinging Sixties history is for sale priced at £1,250 - you can find out more about it here.
