Artists Anish Kapoor and Antony Gormley have each donated works to the UK Labour Party's first annual arts dinner, which will be hosted by party leader Ed Miliband today (March 21).

The Turner Prize winning artists join a line-up of top figures from Britain's arts community, including Sir Patrick Stewart, who is offering a private recital of Shakespeare, and author Sarah Waters, who will join the winning bidder's book group.
Kapoor has donated an untitled painting, while Gormley has provided a piece from his Feeling Material series, which was exacted between 2003 and 2008.
In February, a doodle by the Tory chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne sold for £20,000 ($31,349) at a charity auction, beating off the likes of Paul McCartney and Gormley for the title of top lot.
