Andy Warhol produced the Cowboys & Indians piece in 1986

The piece was executed in 1986 and depicts various figures from American history, including Annie Oakley, Geronimo and Teddy Roosevelt.

There are also depictions of various Native American masks.

Warhol's work remains hugely popular among collectors and regularly achieves sums above estimate.

The record for a Warhol at auction stands at $105m, set for Silver Car Crash (Double Disaster) in 2013.

Francesca Woodman's Untitled (Self Portrait, Boulder, Colorado) was another highlight.

The photograph made $68,750 against a $30,000 estimate, an increase of 129.1%.

It was given to the consignor by Woodman (1958-1981) while they were both studying at the Rhode Island School of Design during the 1970s.

Her work has grown in popularity of late, with another Woodman photograph with a similar estimate selling for $173,000 at Christie's in 2013.
