March 30 is to see a number of rare, iconic pieces cross the block at Palm Beach Modern's Fine Art, Decorative Art and Modern Design auction in Florida, including a highly sought after Ado Chale cocktail table.

The cocktail table is estimated to be worth between $50,000 and $70,000, however designs by Chale have previously brought significantly more. A Chale Venus table sold for €85,000 ($110,220) at Christie's Paris in 2008, while a Chale-designed occasional table brought £51,650 ($83,570) to Christie's London in May 2012.
The Belgian's exalted designs have evolved from a love of minerals, and his inventive hybrids combine a minimalist formality with the use of natural materials.
Auctioneer Rico Baca comments: "Ado Chale designs are found in royal palaces and French museums. Everything he makes is elegant, original and perfectly proportioned. Many of his pieces are one offs."
Also to go under the hammer are a number of Pablo Picasso posters valued at $500-600. Among them, a rare poster from an important 1956 exhibition is considered the finest.
Here at Paul Fraser Collectibles, we currently have a wealth of art and photography collectibles in stock, including this exceptional Pablo Picasso autographed postcard.
