A 1:64 scale model of the RMS Mauretania sold for £135,000 ($210,483) at Charles Miller in London on May 12.

It sets a new world record for a 20th century ship builder's model, up 101.4% on a £67,000 estimate.
The lot was produced to celebrate the launch of the Mauretania, then the world's largest and fastest ship, in 1906. It was later exhibited in London's Science Museum and the Shipping Museum.
