London's The Lanesborough, a luxury five-star hotel in Knightsbridge, has announced that it will sell off 3,000 items of furniture on December 9-13.

The auction will take place at the hotel, which is closing its doors to customers ahead of renovation. Lots can be viewed on a dedicated website, which offers 360 degree tours of the hotel's rooms.
The star lots of the sale include a pair of Schimmel Empire grand pianos, which are valued at £3,000-3,500 ($4,781-5,578), and crystal column chandeliers, estimated at £5,000-5,500 ($7,969-8,766), according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
