Furniture from the legendary Hotel de Paris in Monaco will go on sale at Artcurial from January 25-30 in Monte Carlo.

The auction is part of a renovation project for the hotel and gives collectors the chance to own stunning pieces of furniture from the hotel's luxury suites, which include one dedicated to Winston Churchill, a familiar face who regularly rented a large apartment.
Among the hotel's most famous customers are Errol Flynn, who brought most of Hollywood to Monte Carlo for his wedding day, and James Bond, who stayed at the hotel in Golden Eye.
The sale offers over 3,000 lots, featuring furniture from 130 suites and public areas, and includes the famous gourmet restaurants and entrance lobby, as well as the garden. A further 400 pieces of crockery and bath linen embroidered with the hotel's initials provide fantastic keepsakes.
"The sale of the luxury hotel that best symbolises a place as famous as Monte-Carlo is a real event!" commented Francois Tajan, co-chairman of Artcurial.
"Monaco is synonymous with luxury hotels, with history, with prestige, with lifestyle. So many good reasons for enthusiasts from around the world to take part in the Hôtel de Paris sale and acquire a little bit of the Principality's magic."
