Steve Jobs autographed Apple business card
One of the most sought after and valuable autographs in the world, beautifully presented on an "apple computer" business card.
Jobs was famously reluctant to sign autographs. Those that survive are extremely valuable.
This clear, black ballpoint pen autograph is on an original "apple computer" business card.
The printed card reads:
"apple computer / Steven Jobs / Chairman Board of Directors / 10395 Bandley Drive / Cupertino California 95014 / (408) 996-1010"
The card dates to the period from 1981 to September 1985 when Jobs was Apple chairman. It features the Apple logo designed in 1977 by Rob Janoff and used in this form, with the Motter Tektura typeface, until 1984.
Apple still uses a Bandley Drive address and moved to 10260 Bandley Drive in 1978. The company also still uses this telephone number.
An extremely similar card was dated to circa 1983 before its auction sale for $181,183 in 2024.
Comes in an attractive presentation case, coupled with an original notarised 1996 certificate of authenticity from The Spotlight Press.
An extraordinary opportunity to secure one of the most important autographs in the world today.
Steve Jobs founded Apple with Steve Wozniak in 1976. They sold their first computers as build-at-home kits – a niche hobby for dedicated tech enthusiasts.
Now, Apple is in virtually every home (or pocket, or wrist) and the company has a market valuation of $4.4 trillion.
Jobs himself was a compelling and charismatic personality. He was very much the face of Apple and the driving force behind products such as the Mac, iPhone and iPad that made the company a byword for revolutionary tech innovation.
Jobs was a foundational figure in the explosion of the modern tech industry and is inspirational to subsequent generations of business leaders.
He died, aged 56, in 2011.
