Very fine used close to large four margin example lettered TG, tied to a clean entire (dated internally April 22nd 1841) by the finest known example of the solid (debis filled) Maltese Cross of Knighton. Addressed to Ludlow with a Knighton UDC at lower left. A stunning example of the spectacular Maltese cross illustrated on page 82 of Danzig & Goldsmith and page 145 of Rockoff & Jackson.
