Description
Gibraltar 1851 (MY 17) entire letter from Gibraltar to Genoa, beautifully addressed in Royal blue and endorsed "por el Arno", showing on face very fine strike of three-line "GIBRALTAR/SHIP LETTER" date stamp (type SL2) in blue-black, with red "VIA/DI MARE/(E)" and M/S rate marks. Red "22 MAG" arrival backstamp.
Light filing fold, still very fine and highly attractive. Choice quality, and very scarce in such fine condition.
