A very rare stamp with the stamps from the Chinese Soviet Republic being era being amongst the most rarest in Chinese philately.
Accompanied with a 2015 Experts & Consultants certificate of authenticity.
Stanley Gibbons catalogue value: £4,500.
This stamp forms part of the Red Posts issues, printed and circulated by the Communist authorities operating independently of the official Nationalist postal system. It was released shortly after the Communist leadership relocated to Juichin in March 1930 and in the wake of the official proclamation of the Chinese Soviet Republic in November 1931, with Mao Tse-tung elected President later that month.
The stamp embodies the defiant infrastructure of the early Communist movement, operating entirely outside the Nationalist-controlled postal system.
