Description
Ceylon 1912-25 6c pale scarlet (single plate), Watermark MCA, variety watermark sideways (to left from back), upper right corner block of 4 with plate number '1', SG305a.
A fine unmounted mint positional block of four with full original gum. Fractionally toned (and one stamp with minor wrinkle), but fresh colour and of fine appearance, with the variety easily visible in the margins from the face.
A very scarce King George V watermark variety in this form.
