China 1894 60th Birthday of Dowager Empress set of 9 to 24ca rose-carmine, each used by part to large part Shanghai seal in blue or black, SG16/24.
A fine quality used set. The 5ca is thinned at the upper left corner, but overall much above average for this difficult set to find in fine condition.
The Dowager Empress stamps were the very first commemorative stamps issued by China. They were issued to celebrate the 60th Birthday of the Dowager Empress, one of the most powerful women in the history of China.
