A signed photograph of US Army Air Force pilots Paul Tibbets and Charles Sweeney.
Tibbets (1915-2007) was the pilot of the 'Enola Gay' B29 bomber which dropped the 1st atomic bomb 'Little Boy' on Hiroshima, Japan, on Aug. 6, 1945.
Sweeney (1919-2004) piloted the B29 'Bockscar' which dropped the 2nd atomic bomb 'Fat Man' on Nagasaki, Japan on Aug. 9, 1945.
The black and white photograph measures 10” by 8" (20.5 x 25.5cm) and is in fine condition.
Both men have signed in blue ink next to their respective portraits.
