First United States President George Washington has been cropping up time and time again on the autograph market in 2009-2010. And now it looks like he's branching out into whisky.
Bottles of whisky and rum from Washington's own distillery recipes are going on display in the North Dakota Museum of art, at the University of North Dakota campus.

Hal Gershman, a liquor retailer from Grand Forks, bought the two bottles at auction last Autumn for $12,000.
The funds went toward the upkeep of Mount Vernon, Washington's plantation home of the Potomac River - his place of retirement after leading the American Revolution.
The bottles will be exhibited the Grand Forks museum from April 18-June 3.
They will appear alongside a letter written by Washington in 1799, just prior to his death.
While the Grand Forks museum will be showing one of Washington's last handwritten documents, Paul Fraser Collectibles sold the earliest known George Washington signature in private hands last year.
The signature of the then-18-year-old Washington was inked on a handwritten 16th century land survey.
Meanwhile, another Washington signature is on the market, on an accounts document listing the payment of slave labour in the construction of the Potomack Canal at Shenandoah Falls. It is valued at £29,950 ($49,420).
