Fellows offer Rolex and Vacheron Constantin timepieces to see in the Spring

As the summer sun seems already to be beaming on collectors (at least from our vantage point in Bristol, UK), Fellows auctioneers are offering them the chance to get their hands on some fine timepieces on which they can watch the warm hours glide slowly by.

There are a couple of hundred lots on offer including a gentleman's 18ct gold automatic Breitling Navitimer wrist watch (estimated at £3,000-£4,000), a gentleman's platinum automatic Fortis Platin Alarm Cosmonaut chronograph wrist watch (with box and papers, estimated at £6,000-£8,000) and a gentleman's 18k rose gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust wrist watch, circa 1940s, (estimated at £3,500-£4,500)

Our favourite as an attractive collectible and potential investment is a gentleman's 18ct gold automatic Vacheron Constantin.

This is an 18ct gold automatic gentleman's Overseas bracelet watch circa 1996. The silvered circular dial has gilt hour markers and a date aperture at three o'clock. A Maltese cross is displayed at twelve o'clock.

The squat tonneau-shaped case, reference 679348, is fitted to an 18ct gold link bracelet with double folding clasp. It is expected to sell for £5,000-£6,000 (up to $9,800) in Fellows sale which concludes on the morning of April 18 in Birmingham, UK and online.
