Auktionshaus Dr Fischer's forthcoming sale of Arts and Antiques on May 8 promises a number of unique antique collectibles.
Featured among them is this "Four Seasons" decorated Meissen porcelain mantel clock, circa 1850.
Measuring 57cm high, the clock's body and base are richly decorated with vividly and naturalistically modelled flowers, and painted depictions of insects and children.
The clock's base is marked "No: 2172", and it will auction with an estimate of €5,000.
The unique timepiece also bears Meissen's signature logo, the crossed swords, one of the oldest trademarks in existence. The company dominated the style of European porcelain throughout the early 18th century.

Dr Fischer's auction will be held in Heilbronn in northern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Online bidding is available for interested collectors and investors outside Germany.
This isn't the first time a 'nature-themed' Art Déco timepiece has appeared at auction in recent months. A bizarre "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" clock appeared at Patrizzi & Co last year.
Dated to 1930 and manufactured by Vladimir Makovsky for Black, Starr & Frost, the unique gold, platinum, malachite and mother of pearl clock eventually sold for $340,000.
