The booklet sold for £1,750 ($2,677), making a 75% increase on its £1,000 high estimate. The tragic team, many of who were killed in the Munich air disaster of 1958, have signed their names over their portrait in the centre-page team picture, as well as on individual pages.
Also included in the lot was a 1956-1957 training rules and players' instruction handbook.
PFC Auctions is currently offering an autograph book featuring 27 autographs from the Busby Babes. Also starring is a menu signed by the 1966 World Cup-winning England team.
Today's sale also featured two British Heavyweight Championship belts won by boxer Henry Cooper.
