A complete sheet of 60 Nyasaland MCA £10 purple and royal blue stamps are to lead Spink's sale of Important British Empire Revenue Stamps, due to take place on October 23.
The stamps will be offered with a valuation of £8,000-10,000 ($12,966-16,209).
The stamps are split into blocks of 30, 24 and six, and fixed to a March 30, 1927 document. They are cancelled by the "registrar of the high court of Nyasaland" (now Malawi).

A number of flaws are present including a broken crown and scroll, a damaged leaf at the lower right of the document and bullet holes.
A block of Kenya and Uganda £100 revenue stamps dating from 1922-1927 are also offered with an identical estimate. The red and black block is cancelled by a "principal registrar of documents/ Mombasa" stamp.

The item is believed to be unique, and as such is quite possibly one of the most desirable item of British revenue philately.
Three hand painted Ceylon stamp essays dating to 1891 are offered with a £4,000-5,000 ($6,483-8,104) valuation. The designs were never adopted and feature values ranging from 1c to 1000r.
All are executed on tracing paper and backed on card carrying the date "jan 12/91".
Four die proofs, also from Ceylon, are offered ranging from 5c to 1r and backed on glazed card. They will be sold as a single lot with an estimate of £3,000-4,000 ($4,861-6,481) and date to 1873-1881.
