A photo print of the Rolling Stones has sold well at Antiquorum Auctioneers' sale at its Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York on October 8.
|
The print, taken in London in 1968 as part of the Beggar's Banquet photoshoot, is a rare shot. An archival digital print by photographer Michael Joseph, it sold for $13,750.
The print was closely following by another of the Stones' Keith Richard eating an orange, this time printed in colour, which sold for $13,125.
We have a unique photograph of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts in his first public performance, aged 12, for sale.

The third highest bids of the sale were seen by a set of 16 digital prints of butterflies by Julian Lennon, son of Beatle John Lennon. A testament to his wide-ranging creativity, the works sold for $11,250.
We have a Julian Lennon autograph for sale, alongside a fantastic range of John Lennon and Beatles memorabilia.
