The first ever auction to be held at Elvis' famous Graceland home will take place on August 14, with rare memorabilia offered online and on site.

The auction is the first of its kind, though items from the Graceland Archives won't be on sale

The auction, made up of items from third-party collectors and not the Graceland Archives, will attract global attention as the first sale of its kind at the Mecca for Elvis fans.

Much of the auction's contents have been consigned by Greg Page, founding member of the Wiggles, who is also one of the world's top collectors of Elvis memorabilia.

From his esteemed collection comes a 1976 Cadillac Seville, one of 200 Cadillacs that Elvis bought during his lifetime. However, this is the last Cadillac the King bought before his death.

A signed library card discovered in the library of Elvis' school makes another appearance at auction, having sold for $7,500 at Heritage Auctions in August 2012. Signed in 1948, it is the earliest Elvis autograph known, and is acknowledged as such by a letter from Graceland.

Elvis' own copy of the original script for his first film, Love Me Tender, will also feature. It is printed with the movie's original title, The Reno Brothers, on the cover, with the new title written in pen over the top.

Further highlights include Elvis' 13-page typed agreement with Las Vegas International for the first of his 15 appearances in 1969. His first concert since 1961, the show broke records for attendance and ticket sales, with Elvis performing two shows a day for $100,000 a week.
