The boots, worn by Elvis in the summer of 1969, are accompanied by provenance from Elvis' close friend Charlie Hodge

The auction opens on April 24, with the Elvis boots holding the highest minimum bid of $5,000.

They will sell alongside signed boots from Madonna, a pair of boots from Sammy Davis Jr's personal collection and a signed baby shoe that Janet Jackson once wore.

The auction hopes to raise funds to benefit programmes and materials for La Guardia students.
