A guitar belonging to British pop star Alvin Stardust that features signatures from Buddy Holly and the Beatles has been valued at £1.2m ($2m).
His father bought the instrument (which Stardust christened "Peggy Sue") for around £1 in 1955.

The singer told MailOnline: "I hung around stage doors schmoozing until they let me in. Since I always took Peggy Sue, they often assumed I was part of the act and just ushered me through.
"When my dad gave me that guitar, little did we know, after all these years, what a story it would be able to tell."
The guitar also features signatures from the Rolling Stones and other big names in music.
While Stardust has no plans to part with the piece, we can offer you an incredibly rare signed Beatles album for a fraction of the price.
