US auction house Profiles in History is offering the cel, which features the deceitful wooden boy and his "father", a woodcarver named Geppetto, as part of its 58th Animation Auction.
The entire artefact measures 8.5 x 11 inches.
A second still from the film, which is based around Pinocchio's attempts at becoming a real boy, features Pinocchio and Stromboli, Pinocchio's puppeteer antagonist, whose name translates as "Fire Eater". It is also valued at $60,000.
