An archive love letters and other items belonging to Marilyn Monroe are to cross the block at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills on December 6.
The collection includes correspondence from former husbands Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller, described by the house as "worthy of a movie script."

Monroe's relationships with the men in her life were often turbulent. The letters expose the innermost feelings of the star and those close to her.
Martin Nolan, executive director of Julien's Auctions, commented: "We are all in awe of this opportunity to offer such a rare collection and glimpse into Marilyn Monroe's life.
"You can't help but get emotional on several levels when you have the chance to read the letters and view some of the photographs and witness Marilyn's own attempt at correspondence."
Other items in the sale include pill bottles, contracts and photographs as well as clothing - including a bra and her favourite coat.
Monroe's huge appeal ensures an exceptionally buoyant market. Recent sales include a suicidal letter that she wrote to acting coach Lee Strasberg that made $156,000 in 2013.
A pair of rhinestone earrings also sold well earlier this year, achieving $185,000.
We have this phenomenal signed newspaper clipping dating to 1951 available.
