A promotional Aston Martin DB10 created for the James Bond movie Spectre has sold for �2.4m ($3.4m).
The lot headlined a charity auction of memorabilia from the film at Christie's London on February 18, beating an estimate of �1.5m ($2.1m) by 60.0%.

The DB10 was designed especially for the film and was produced in a run of 10. Seven were destroyed during filming, with two (including the present lot) set aside for promotional purposes.
The two door coupe is fully functional, with a V8 engine and a unique high-concept look. This is the first time a DB10 has ever been offered for sale.
Its extreme rarity and strong link to the Bond film is likely to make it a future collectible.
The Day of the Dead costume Daniel Craig wears in one memorable scene in the film sold for �98,000 ($140,105).
It was initially valued at �18,000 ($25,650) - an increase of 447.2%.
David Linley, honorary chairman of Christie's EMERI, explained in the run up to the sale: "All proceeds of the auction will benefit Medecins Sans Frontieres and other charitable organisations.
"We are proud to continue [the late James Bond producer] Cubby Broccoli's philosophy of giving something back."
