A Baylor watch presented to President Harry S Truman on a visit to San Antonio, Texas in 1948 could make in excess of $3,000 on November 8.
It's among the highlights of Heritage Auctions' Americana and Political Signature sale in Dallas.
Truman temporarily took over the presidency from Roosevelt following his sudden death in 1945. He successfully campaigned for a second term in 1948, despite not being the favourite (Republican Thomas E Dewey was expected to win).
The back is engraved: "Pres. Harry Truman/ Visit/ San Antonio/ Texas/ 9-26-48"
