Your chance to join an exciting 2011 for militaria at National Book Auctions

Auction house National Book Auctions of Ithaca, New York, has announced that it is accepting consignments across various collectibles niches for its 2011 sales.

"Books, ephemera, artwork, currency or stamps" are among the ephemera sought by the firm, including military World War I and World War II memorabilia.

According the company's website, its militaria sale is set to take place on February 13 and hopes to offer books, letters, correspondence, war souvenirs and uniforms - as well as items from the Vietnam War.

World War and Vietnam memorabilia will appear at NBA this year

Given the National Book Auctions' last sale of 2010 comprised everyone from Mark Twain to a first edition of Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf, the firm's 2011 offerings will undoubtedly be worth a good look.

NBA's next sale will see angling ephemera, historic maps and signed documents go onto the auction block. It is due to take place on January 23.

More information on taking part in that sale and others in 2011 can be found on NBA's website. Or watch this space for upcoming news on its events.
