This ATS poster was banned for being too glamorous

There were a number of reasons that the posters weren't released.

An ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service) poster featuring an attractive blonde woman was considered "too glamorous", while it was feared that a series of caricatures of high profile Nazis urging Britons to "spread more gossip" and "neglect your work" could have been taken literally.
